PAC PHYSIOLOGY TESTING

VO2 and Lactate Testing on the Bike or Run:

(Combined Test) $175 (VO2 or Lactate on their own) $125

Getting a VO2 Test, Lactate Test or a combined VO2 and Lactate test either on the bike or run will be one of the most complete tests you undergo to assess your current and future fitness capabilities. The VO2 test measures the volume of oxygen you can utilize per kilogram of body weight per minute and the Lactate Test accurately measures your Lactate Balance Point with the use of a  LACTATE PRO. This information allows us to accurately determine where your thresholds lie and prescribe the correct training intensity for future workouts and races. The test session lasts about 60 minutes, which includes the test itself and post performance discussion. In the end you'll be supplied with a complete fitness profile that highlights your aerobic threshold, tempo pace, lactate threshold and anaerobic threshold. Power data, HR data and/or running paces associated with each zone will also be determined.

Resting Metabolic Rate Testing:

$75

Getting a resting metabolic rate test will determine your individual ability to burn calories while at rest. Why is this number important? It allows you to calculate your daily caloric expenditure so that you can maximize your caloric needs on a daily basis. It will give you the information necessary to execute a proper weight loss plan or performance based diet. It consists of a breath test while sitting and relaxing in a chair. The cardio coach will measure your CO2 expiration over the course of 10 minutes and supply you with your RMR. You will leave with your Target Caloric Zones in hand and the information required to make proper nutritional decisions.

Body Composition Testing:

$25

Getting a body composition test will determine your bodies overall fat percentage. This information can be extremely vital when trying to determine your ability to lose extra non-essential weight to enhance your performance. A good example of this relates directly to ones power to weight ratio. Once your power to weight ratio has been determined through a power test, using a body composition test will help to confirm your ability to increase that power to weight ratio by simply changing a few things in your diet or the way your training. The test only take about 20 min, will hightlight you individual body fat percentage and will be followed up by an in depth discussion on how to properly and safely lose those extra non-essential pounds.
